Ten Pieces at The Globe Theatre

Ten Pieces is a much-praised BBC TV school music resource for primary school age groups. My piece "Magic" from Storm has been included in the latest series, and I have just filmed an intro for it with charming Kiell Smith-Bynoe as presenter.

"Storm" is a suite of pieces which aim to tell the story of The Tempest from a simplified elemental level, using short extracts from the original play as texts. So I was delighted that Urbancroft Films managed to "magic us" into the Globe Theatre, and what's more into the most beautiful part of it, the Sam Wanamaker Theatre (pictured.) It was great to be discussing Shakespeare's words, with an actor, in this very place. The films, I believe, will premiere and become available to schools later this autumn.
